Send a rate confirmation for e-signature
Have the carrier sign online, with a PDF and audit trail.
- Open the load and go to its Confirmation tab.
- Create the confirmation: pick the carrier, enter the rate you pay them, payment terms and instructions.
- Send for signature. FleetOne shows a private signing link. Copy it, or use Email carrier to open your mail app with the link filled in.
- The carrier opens the link, reads the terms, agrees, types their name and signs. They can also decline with a reason.
- You get a signed PDF with the terms, signature, time, IP address and a tamper-evident fingerprint.
Signing links expire after 14 days. You can issue a new link or void a confirmation at any time. In Settings, under Load settings, you can require a signed confirmation before a carrier-hauled load can be dispatched.
Typed-name signatures are generally valid under US e-signature law, but this is not legal advice. Have a lawyer review your terms.
